Barton

Saturday May 19th
University of St. Mary of the Lake Seminary
     Auditorium
With Ron Reseigh at the organ

Here is Sunday afternoon entertainment just for you! We guarantee you will forget your worries and anxieties for a couple of hours and go home happy, Settle back in your seats and relive some happy experiences where the stars twinkle and the clouds roll by, and the mirror ball  sprinkles the theatre with hundreds of twinkling specks  of light.
The program is true nostalgia with our highly accomplished theatre organist, Don Springer, playing those sweet and happy toe-tapping melodies you enjoy.  Also, Don will play a musical tribute to the "Late Great Ballroom and Theatre Organist ... Hal Pearl,".
Probably the greatest comedy team of all time, LAUREL AND HARDY,  will  entertain you with two of their funniest comedy shorts "LIBERTY" and "THAT'S  MY WIFE", both accompanied by Don Springer at the organ. Also for your  enjoyment there will be a SING-A-LONG with lyrics presented entirely on original glass slides.
The producers of this program are all seniors and volunteers. Hope to see you at this one-time presentation at the PATIO THEATRE (AUSTIN & IRVING PARK) on SUNDAY AFTERNOON, -MAY 6, AT 2:30 PM,

Join us for this social and enjoy the music of popular Ron Reseigh.  Ron was the overall winner of the ATOS young artists competition  several years ago and is now staff organist at Gary Hanson's "Organ Piper Music Palace" in Greenfield (Milwaukee) Wisconsin.  We've previously enjoyed Ron's perfomances at socials at Van Der Molens and the Downers Grove High School. At  this meeting we will elect the slate of officers nominated at the April meeting and discuss whatever business that comes before the  members at the  meeting. The auditorium has a fresh  new appearance and boasts padded seats which are a welcome change from the old hard seats.
Come join us for good music, treats and the comaraderie of fellow theatre organ fans. There will be open console time after the program.
April Social and Business Meeting

CATOE members were treated to an excellent program presented by Ralph Cox, sales manager of the Baldwin-Biasco piano store in the Merchandise Mart, on the Gateway Theatre's  WurliTzer-Kimball organ.  His program had a variety of selections from popular numbers, light classical and show tunes including a medley from the Lloyd Webber Phantom.
