George
Wright made several concert appearances at the Chicago Theatre WurliTzer
during the '70s both for public performances and ATOS conventions. During
this period he made several recordings on the organ which have been re-released
on CD. The photos are from the CD jackets for George Wright "Chicago" volume
one and two. The photo above shows the Chicago Marquee as it appeared prior
to the theatre's restoration when the sidewalk side of the marquee had
a vertical extension which was eliminated during the restoration. |
